BSA Gold Star ZB34 works machine ridden by Harold Tozer

One of my biggest British bike masters, Johnny P @anglounion and his beautiful children. And his great and old friend, John was one of the main mechanics at the legendary Goldie specialist 'Taylor Dow' in the 60's. He was involved with a birth story of Rocket Gold Star.

And this bike is BSA ZB34 Gold Star 'JOK536', one of the works BSA trials machines ridden by Harold Tozer from 1949-1952. I shot this photograph in 2010 in highland, Scotland during pre-65 trials, SSDT season.

英車の師匠の一人であり恩人であるジョニーPさんと子どもたち。そして、奥の紳士はBSA Gold Star スペシャリストとして名を馳せたTaylor Dowのメインメカニックの一人であったジョンさん。Rocket Gold Starの誕生にも関わったという人物。

このサイドカーのトライアルマシンはBSA ZB34 ゴールドスターで、本物のワークスマシン。1949年から1952年の間、ハロルド・トーザーという名騎手によって操られた 'JOK536'は、BSAのコンペティション ヒストリーを纒めた本にも登場します。2010年の、SSDTの時期開催された、Pre-65 Trialsのデモランに登場した際の写真で、スコットランドのハイランド地方、グレン・コー辺りで撮ったものだと思います。
